Thanks to Architectural Digest, HGTV and MLS listings, it’s possible for us to be a little voyeuristic and get a glimpse into homes that would normally be inaccessible to us, in this case, celebrity kitchens.
Maybe some of them will speak to you – maybe some won’t; the styles are all over the place!
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi‘s kitchen.
Angela Lansbury enjoys cooking and wanted her kitchen to reflect warmth and the architecture of her farmhouse in Ireland.
Billy Joel‘s beach house in Sagaponack, NY.
Singer/songwriter Carole King has an ultra-rustic kitchen in her home in Idaho.
Tracy Morgan, Columbus Circle, NYC.
Jerry Seinfeld’s Telluride, CO 14,000 square foot estate features rustic wood floors and beams paired with creamy cabinets.
Justin Timberlake‘s Tribeca, NYC condo kitchen.
Molly Sims’ former kitchen in LA, California.
Brad Pitt, Malibu, CA with bamboo flooring, glass bar, stainless steel counter tops and a glass, garage-style door that opens for alfresco dining.
Celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentii, worked with designer Kevin Fitzsimons to make her kitchen streamlined and camera ready in case she ever wanted to film any of her Cooking Channel or Food Network shows in her home.
Bruce Willis’ kitchen in Hailey, Idaho.
Hilary Duff’s kitchen offers a mix of rustic, dark beams and cabinets and sleek, slick stainless steel.
Sting and Trudie Styler worked with architect Lee F. Mindel to overhaul their early 18th century London townhouse.
Taylor Swift’s former home in Nashville, TN features a large copper range hood, a marble back splash, large windows and vaulted ceilings with beams.
Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s kitchen.
Andie MacDowell’s kichen reflects the Tudor-style of her house.
Extensive, but beautiful, tasteful and thoughtful renovations by the current owners of Katharine Hepburn’s Connecticut estate retain its timeless elegance and charm.
So?? Do you have a visceral reaction (good or bad) to any of them? They are all over the map, but I do have a favorite or two… 🙂
Happy Monday 🙂
my bestest are Taylor Swift and Katherine Hepburn 🙂
I like the more rustic ones I think the sleek clean modern stainless steel everywhere approach looks more like a restaurant kitchen than a home. I cant put my finger on what I dont like aout the Brad Pitt kitchen someting just doesn’t work for me
It is so nice to get a voyeuristic view into these celeb kitchens–great post
Love Ellen and Portia’s kitchen and the door(and the view) in Brad Pitt’s kitchen
Gorgeous!! My favorites are Justin Timberlake and Ellen & Portia!
Love Justin Timberlake’s and Molly Simm’s – also love the sky light in Hilary Duff’s. I don’t like Carole King’s kitchen.
Thanks for sharing!!
What a fun trip around the celebrity kitchen spectrum! Thanks…….
These kitchens are great. They all have something I like but I love Andie McDowells the most.

My favorite is the Seinfeld kitchen, but I can’t help but be annoyed that all of these celebrities have such fabulous kitchens, but they probably never actually cook in them.
I would move right into the Katherine Hepburn Kitchen!
After reading about her life there, I could see an idyllic life, but that would mean moving my daughters, their husbands and the grands into the estate too………
Okay, no problem!
I wonder how many of these kitchen owners can cook. I guess it doesn’t matter. They’ll hire someone.
Brad Pitt is my favorite
Brad Pitt and Ellen! They have the best kitchens….I just can’t imagine Angelina or Portia cooking.
Reblogged this on Amy Arey, Realtor Real Estate Blog.
ooh love love love. especially Molly Sims’ kitchen hers called out to me the most
Hilary Duff’s. And I’ve got to say I am totally surprised at her taste. I would never have envisioned that for her.
It’s hard not to be swayed by the degree of how much I like the people who live in them, when it comes to choosing a favorite.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi‘s kitchen…love the overhead feature! Nice piece!
Fun post! Ellen & Portia’s and Katherine Hepburn’s kitchens are my personal favs. I also dig Jerry Seinfeld’s kitchen — I bet his lovely wife, cookbook author Jessica Seinfeld, cooks up a storm in there.
My favorites are the ones with a lot of wood….not woodshed, per se, but French country, like Jerry Seinfeld’s.
Remember that show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” from the 80’s? I can hear Robin Leach narrating this post. I like Ellen’s and Bruce Willis’ kitchens the best and some…well some of them should fire their designers.
Too many favorites, Ellen, Seinfeld, brad Pitt, Bruce Willis and Will Smith 🙂
Great Kitchens – thanks for sharing! Have a Great Day!
really diggin Brad’s garage-door-style glass wall
I’m quite fond of Angela Lansbury’s kitchen.

Brad Pitt’s is my dream kitchen, but I would settle for Jerry Seinfeld’s. We’re looking to buy a house in the next few months and the kitchen is room that makes or breaks a house for me.
Love you blog! So, I nominated you for the “One Lovely Blog Award!” check out this link for details: http://bumbleberrylane.com/2012/06/28/one-lovely-blog-award/
This is a fabulous post! I’m a total voyeur – I love seeing how other people live. And I’m obsessed with kitchens – if I had the money, I’d buy a house just so I could devote an entire floor to a kitchen. I love all these pics but my faves are the modern ones.
Now that we might finally make some alterations to our old out-dated kitchen I can’t think of what I would like to do. Right now it is partly 50’s and 80’s, yuck. I thought I new want I wanted until I really started looking. I love Bratt Pitt’s house but I have no view so no point in that. Taylor Swifts is my other favorite. Oh and yes Katherine Hepburn’s kitchen!
